Port status in 3750 Switch

Folks,

What will be the port status (L3 or L2 port)by default in 3750 and 3550 switches ?.

Appreciated for ur reply.

Hi Raju,

All the ports by default are layer 2 ports and set for dynamic desirable mode which will try to form a trunk with the connected device.

Hi Raju,

If it is having NATIVE IOS then all the ports are Layer 3 ports by default.
