Hello,

I am expereincieng some issues on the network and would like get a feedback please.

We have our Default gateways pointed to 10.114.10.1 on the servers that are on the 10.114.10.x network. They are sometimes going to 10.114.10.1(1st hop) and then 10.114.10.253(2nd hop), if we do a trace again it may or may not have the 10.114.10.1 as the first hop.  Also on a couple of servers on the 10.100.1.x network there default gateway is 10.100.1.1 and there second hop is sometimes 10.114.10.253 when it should be 10.100.1.253.

10.114.10.1 = VLAN 1114 on Cisco3750 ( running EIGRP)

10.100.1.1  = VLAN 100 on same Cisco3750

10.114.10.253 & 10.100.1.253 (Service Provider Cisco2800)

thanks in advance

Hi Mohammed,

Can you check to make sure all the subnet masks are configured correctly on the servers, switches and routers?

Also, if the servers have multiple NICs, can you check to make sure they have only one subnet installed not multiple?

HTH

Reza
