hi all,
just a quick one, is the power brick for 877 compatible with 871?
i saw the power socket looks the same. i haven't tested it yet as i'm afraid it might blow up.

Yes. They are all using the same one.

Yes, you can copy data from a supported USB flash drive to/from the appliance's Flash.

If I remembered correctly, 877 does not have any USB support but the 871 does have two USB ports. They USB ports are for data only (not for console).
You also CANNOT boot an IOS from the USB.

yes, i'm referring to 871 USB ports,
do you mean data as in copying config and IOS files from USB to 871's directory (i.e flash, RAM)?
