Currently using this command power inline port 2x-mode on a 2960x switches to fix the PoE problem for some of PoE devices that suddenly draws more power when activated at random intervals. However just replaced a 2960x switch with a 9200L switch and the command seems to have went through but doesn't fix the PoE problem anymore. Was looking to see if anyone had a solution to a similar problem on a 9200L?

you can try config :
power inline port priority high
power inline static max 15400

Hi @balaji.bandi sadly tried even power inline static max 30000 but still wouldn't work. This device draws a large amount of power when it gets activated but within 15.4w. On the 2960x I had the same problem but found some users using the command power inline port 2x-mode and it fixed the problem. But now we have a newer switch and that command is no longer working for it.

Hello,
which PoE devices are connected to these ports ? Try a longer or higher category Ethernet cable, in combination with that command (Power inline port 2x-mode), and check if that makes a difference...
