Power Issues with 2960x

I didn't really know where to put this.  I have 3 new 2960x's in a stack.  Switch 2 keeps losing power after a few hours.  Currently there is nothing but the flex cables and power cables plugged into the switches as I am going to replace our current stack with these.  Generally the switch loses power overnight and when I come in in the morning it is powered off, but still plugged in.  I can unplug it and wait for a bit, then plug it back in and it will power up.  If I don't wait, nothing will happen.  I have the switch separated right now on a different circuit to see if it will stayed powered on tonight.

I gave up and called Cisco TAC.  They are doing an RMA for hardware failure.

Also, it went down again last night.  Was powered off this morning when I came in.  Unplugged for 5 minutes then plugged back in and it came back up.

I gave up and called Cisco TAC.  They are doing an RMA for hardware failure.

does your model have an exchangeble power module?

while waiting for TAC to respond you could try swapping Power modules,

see if the problem moves to the other switch or remains in the same chassis.

Thanks for the reply, but TAC already sent out a new switch.  It was under hardware warranty.  It will be here today.

Thanks
