Hello
Trying to get the 10Gbps service module to be recognised requires V15 according to cisco docs
Upgrading from V12.2 55 (or .58) fails on some switches I have tried
Process fails and I finish up at the switch: prompt
I can recover....
The switch can be regressed back to v12.2.55 or .58
But I can't get all of them up to v15
I have tried 5 to date
Same methods producing different results
2 worked
3 failed
Can anyone help throw any light on this
Anyone had similar problems please?
Thanks

I can't see the bug either.
All our problematic switches are 48 ports ones, we have some 24 port ones but they're newer and aren't affected. Our testing of the affected switches suggests it's related to their age/hardware revision:
So it looks like it's a hardware issue.

It's not limited to 48 port switches.
I've got two V02 24 port switches (FD015 serial) that have the problem and a V03 (FD016) that's fine.

Oliver is actually correct. This is indeed related to a apecific hardware rivision number. It is a hardware issue.
