I am trying to setup basic 802.1X port security on a Meraki MS350-48FP
trying to use machine certificates with EAP-TLS
I have created an access policy with
RADIUS server
type 802.1x
single host
control direction both
I have assigned the policy to an access port.
My laptop ethernet adaptor has enabled 802.1X. Smart card or other certificate (EAP-TLS)
The switch can ping the server.
I can see the switch radius test (meraki_8021x_test) every 15 seconds in RADIUS logs (failing but not sure if that's expected if its just a heartbeat)
When I try to connect my laptop, i have to click a sign in button (which i don't like but that's a issue for later) - it doesn't connect, just says "cant connect to this network"
theres no log on RADIUS, not even a failure so I dont think its even reaching the server.
any ideas?
