Hi guys,
I have packet loss with QoS configured and I was wondering is it somehow connected with the QoS configured on the switch. The traffic is passing through fa0/19 and gi0/1 interfaces.

mls qos
interface FastEthernet0/19
switchport trunk native vlan 2
switchport mode trunk
srr-queue bandwidth share 10 10 60 20
priority-queue out
mls qos trust cos
macro description cisco-switch
auto qos voip trust
spanning-tree link-type point-to-point
interface GigabitEthernet0/2
switchport trunk native vlan 2
switchport mode trunk
srr-queue bandwidth share 10 10 60 20
queue-set 2
priority-queue out
mls qos trust cos
macro description cisco-switch
auto qos voip trust
spanning-tree link-type point-to-point
I was wondering if I remove the QoS interface statements on both interfaces won't solve this?Something like:
no srr-queue bandwidth share 10 10 60 20
no queue-set 2
no priority-queue out
no mls qos trust cos
no auto qos voip trust
Thank you very much.
Best regards,
Nikolay

Hi Nikolay,
What led you to think that the packet loss is due to QoS?, did you observer any congestion on thoses ports?
You can use the below 2 commands to remove qos config from the ports
no mls qos trust cos
no auto qos voip trust
global config command
no mls qos

Hi Siddhartha,
Thanks for your replay. I din't observred congestion on the ports.
When removed the interface setting the things went a bit better - like 10 packets lost from 100000.
I was wondering - mls qos enables it globally and if I have removed it from the interfaces it won't affect those interfaces with qos removed, am I right?
Many thanks!
Nik
