Problem with router configuration, not sure where I'm going wrong

Hi there,

I'm just working my through some online lab activities with packet tracer and have gotten stuck on one activity. In this lab I'm basically troubleshooting a network and fixing errors, making sure it adheres to the IP addressing table and has specific switch port assignments.

So far I feel like I've fixed everything I can and addressed all issues on the interfaces yet I still don't understand why my router is not connecting... I feel like I'm being stupid or have forgotten something basic, it would be greatly appreciated if somebody could steer me in right direction!

I've attached the packet tracer file in the zip folder which has all my configurations so far and below is what shows on the router interface

I am not a PT user. But looking at your output and image of IP address

FastEthernet0/1 is administratively down, line protocol is down (disabled)

this is admin down,

make sure interface up and running

config t

!

fas 0/1

no shut

check always, show ip interface brief to see all the interface up and running

On top of what Balaji has already pointed out, I notice that S1 is connected to R1 port F0/0 and it should be connected to port f0/1 according to the addressing plan.

You will also need to change subnet 192.168.99.0/24 to 192.168.20.0/24 on both R1 and PC-B to conform to the addressing plan.

Brilliant thank you, I had completely forgotten my no shutdown commands (both on vlans and interfaces)! I've been staring at packet tracer too much today haha, much appreciated
