Question of those working in Industrial environments with PTP:
From initial observation, the IOS-XE PTP subsystem seems to be 90% similar to the traditional IOS implementation on the IE-4000 / IE-5000 / Stratix switches, with one notable exception:
IE-4000/IE-5000 supports a port-level PTP config called "GM-Block" (similar to spanning-tree bpuguard) but I notice this feature is absent even on the latest IOS-XE 17.07.x.
Is it on the roadmap somewhere for XE?
And more importantly:
The new "Catalyst IE 9300" is slated to be released soon: Will it feature it?
