PTP sync does not work on each port N9K

Hi together,

 

I've seen any problems with IEEE1588 PTP-Sync on my Nexus N9K-C93108TC-FX (nxos.7.0.3.I7.3).

On some Ports (example: 1/45) won't PTP-Sync work. If i switch the PTP-Client on other Port (example: 1/43) the PTP-sync will work's propertly fine.

The Port-Configuration (1/43 and 1/45) is identical.

 

What could be the cause for this issue?
- MAC-Table?
- ARP-Table?

This Bug don't describe my issue.

If i deactivate ptp on the port - the cisco port doesn't still send PTP (no Announce, Sync, FollowUp) to Client

I checked the Ouptut of Port 45 - there are only sends Announce & Sync, the FollowUp is still missed.

Could you explain which logs exactly do you mean?

 

I try to create al logfile in the N9K, but there are no relevant Infos in the logfile in \root\log\ (only 3 lines?)

sorry, but updating the Firmware ist not an option.

It is only allowed, depends on releases the IT-Department, to use nxos.7.0.3.I7.3

How could i identify the cause of the issue?

 - That's  a pity , but I acknowledge it , but note that such issues can be attributed to subtle bugs albeit being documented or not , usually it remains advisory to try a cisco-advisory release , which I mentioned. It all depends on problem-urgency too.

what i have seen:

- FollowUp is available on Ports 1/1 - 1/44

- FollowUp is not available on Ports 1/45 - 1/48
