According to some 2950 config guide there is a limitation that only 1 (one) destination port for SPAN session can exist. This limitation does not included in every config guide for 2950. But in "Configuring guideline" section always referred
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
monitor session session_number destination interface interface-id [encapsulation {dot1q}]
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
On the other hand, that is in 2960 config guide:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
monitor session session_number destination {interface interface-id [, | -] [encapsulation {dot1q | replicate}]}
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Draw attention to comma and dash. So can I suggest, that 2960 it the lowest catalyst model, supported multiple destination ports for one SPAN session?
Thanks!
