Will this work... Policing the interface and then applying a Service policy on the interface? I though to do that you would have to so Child/Parent  MQC design?

It might, but if it does, I'm unsure of the order of operations.

If I needed to shape, I wouldn't mix an explicit traffic shaper with a service policy, I would do the shaping within MQC.

PS:

BTW, traffic-shape doesn't police.
