QoS Using Priority-Group Command

Hi,

Can somebody assist me how can I priotorize OSPF traffic using the priority-group command?

I have applied the following config but I am not able to figure out how to specify the interesting traffic as ospf!

access-list 110 permit ospf any any

priority-list 1 int f0/0 high

int f0/0

priority-group 1 high

Even if I try the priority-list 1 protocol command, the ospf protocol is not listed there under the protocols list!

Appreciate your help here.

Thanks,

Haitham

IGP routing protocol traffic is automatically marked with DSCP CS6 and is given high priority through an internal mechanism to ensure the neighbours stay up. You don't really have to do anything to make it high priority.

However, if you really want to try it, I would use class-based wfq and put CS6 in the priority queue, rather than using legacy priority queuing.

Good luck,

R.
