Hi all I have asked two ASR 1002, but the true is that I never used / touch this boxes.
The idea is connect this two routers trough Metroethernet link but I am not sure if this interfaces with this Gbic modules SFP-GE-T works 10/100/1000 or only works at 1000 like 4924 multilayer switches.
My current Metroethernet Link is just 10/100 FE
Somebody knows about that?
Thanks in advanced

Hi Eduardo,
If it is 10/100/1000 then that is what it is. it is not 10/100 10/100/1000 interface is copper not fiber

Hi Reza thanks for your response.. .
I heard from other Engineer that 10/100/1000 built-in interfaces are only capable of 10/100 using the copper SFP..
did you know abou that ?
Thanks

That is not true, the 1000Base-T SFP supports 10/100/1000. The problem is some modules only capable of 1GE like the WS-X6748-SFP.

Guys,
I am just deploying a pair of ASR 1006.
I am using the SPA-5X1GE-V2 with both GLC-T and SMF SFPs
cisco ASR1006 (RP1) processor with 709790K/6147K bytes of memory.
10 Gigabit Ethernet interfaces
32768K bytes of non-volatile configuration memory.
2097152K bytes of physical memory.
942079K bytes of eUSB flash at bootflash:.
39004543K bytes of SATA hard disk at harddisk:.
Configuration register is 0x2102
This is with Autonegotiation enabled
Router(config-if)#
Router(config)#int g0/0/0
Router(config-if)#speed ?
10 Force 10 Mbps operation
100 Force 100 Mbps operation
1000 Force 1000 Mbps operation
Router(config-if)#speed 100
Auto-negotiation is enabled. Speed cannot be set
Turning off Autonegotiation
Router(config-if)#no negotiation auto
Router(config-if)#speed 100
Router(config-if)#speed 1000
Hope this helps
