We have hierachical CBWFQ implementation in 7609 service-policy output (76-ES+T-40G )
We set the parent level with 30M shapping
And there are serval clasees in child level ,one is clas_voice.
We reserve 9M for class_voice with priority.(Reserve such high bandwidth because of vedio conference needed)
Configuration for class_voice:
class class_voice
police cir 9000000
priority
class class_gold
bandwidth 6000
Parent level shapping configuration:
policy-map QoS_OUT_30M
class class-default
shape average 30000000
service-policy QoS_Child
My question is under such configuration ,can other class (not voice) used the left bandwidth from the reserved 9M form class_voice ?
I had serched the web and connot find articals talk about this.
Many thanks for all the help.

Yours is an unusual card, but in general, CBWFQ will allow other classes to utilize bandwidth unused by other classes, including LLQ.
CBWFQ bandwidth is only "reserved" in the sense of a guarantee minimum when multiple classes are competing for bandwidth.

Since the 76-ES+T-40G is quite different with routers.
