Hello,

I have a question about vlan,

I have one Cisco ASA 5505 Sec+ with Cisco Swith SG-300

I create multiple vlan and I manage security vlan with Cisco ASA 5505 Sec+

My question is : Is that all traffic must go with the Cisco ASA or all traffic go with the switch only ?

Thank you in advance for your answers

And sorry for my english ... I'm French.

The SG-300 is a muti-layer switch. So you could configure SVIs for you VLANs on it and a point to point link to the ASA. This would mean that client traffic would not need to pass though the ASA for inter-VLAN routing. If you did this you would need to configure a default route in the SG-300 pointing to the ASA and routes for all of the client subnet in the ASA point at the SG-300.

Best Regards,

Greg
