Hi Guys,
I passed my voucher exam for CCNA. I got 85.6%. However, I have
some questions i would like to discuss with you all.
What do you think is the right answer for:
1.- Given a router that has already been configured, what is the
correct loading sequence when powering on?
a.bootstrap, RAM, operating system
b.bootstrap, configuration file, operating system
c.bootstrap, operating system, configuration file
d.operating system, configuration file, RAM
2. The switches in the graphic are configured for VTP as shown.
SW1_______________SW2_______________SW3_________________SW4
Server Client Transparent Server
VTP Domain: Cisco
Trunking protocol: ISL
Select the statements that correctly describe the operation of these
switches. (Choose two.)
a. A new VLAN can be added to Switch1 and that information will be
added only to Switch2.
b. An existing VLAN can be deleted from Switch2 and that VLAN will be
deleted from Switch1 and Switch4.
c. A new VLAN can be added to Switch4 and that information will be
added to Switch1, Switch2, and Switch3.
d. A new VLAN can be added to Switch1 and that information will be
added to Switch2 and Switch4.
e. A new VLAN can be added to Switch3 and that information will be
added to Switch1, Switch2, and Switch4.
f. An existing VLAN can be deleted from Switch4 and that VLAN will be
deleted from Switch1 and Switch2.
3. What are the effects of LAN segmentation using a switch? (Choose
three.)
a. dedicated bandwidth between source and destinations
b. enlarged collision domains
c. decreased broadcast domains
d. increased number of collision domains
e. increased latency in the network
Waiting for your answers guys,
Cheers,
Daniel

Do not post official exam questions! You have signed non-disclosure agreement, stating that you will loose your certification for doing exactly this!
Questions have to stay inside testing room!

Sorry guys,
There was a misunderstanding. The questions posted are not from Official Voucher exam, they are from CCNA voucher study material that I downloaded from internet.
Sorry about that

Well, in that case...
1. Bootstrap has to load before IOS, and there is no point in having configuration without ios. So it has to be: bootstrap, os, config
2. Transparent mode only PASSESS packets, without interpreting them. Also, only SERVER side changes are recognized by other servers and clients in VTP domain. Client changes are not recognized, and will be overwritten with next update. Transparent side changes are not event sent out, so they stay on the transparent switch. So the answers are d and f.
3. Switch provides microdivision of collision domains, where there is only one collision domain per every switch port. Broadcast domains are controlled by Layer 3. Bandwidth dedication is done using very complex IntServ mechanisms not the switch. Switch does not increase latency much using newest switching methods, and packets pass switch in matters of microseconds. So the answer is D.
hope this helps.
