Hello,
I've just set-up RPR+. When I enetered the sh redundancy command, I get the following output:
"Current Software state = STANDBY COLD-CONFIG"
Is this something to worry about?
Please advise?
Thanks.

Hi, everyvary
This happend to me in SW WS-C6504-E, when I changed a standBY processor card
Switch1#show redundancy states
Current Software state = STANDBY COLD
My partners help me and fix like this
Switch1#copy bootflash:s2t54-ipservicesk9-mz.SPA.151-2.SY4a.bin slavebootflash:
you wait after this step its complete
Switch1#Write memory
Switch1#redundancy reload peer
after that you have this card like that:
Switch1#sh redundancy
Current Software state = STANDBY HOT
Bye and I hope help them, like the community help me before.

Hi,
"Current Software state = STANDBY COLD-CONFIG"
Is this something to worry about?
Yes, the mode needs to be SSO. Also, your config register is currently 0x102. If this is a 6500 switch, in a maintenance window, it needs to be changed to 0x2102 on both chassis and rebooted. What type of sup do you have in these chassis?
