Hi Munaf,

it is weird that a Cisco employee uses the public forum for these requests

anyway

  • ip helper address

In NX-OS we use "ip dhcp relay address" command to relay the dhcp requests to a different subnet. It will work for DHCP requests only.

  • ip forward-protocol

not supported in NX-OS yet. Enhancement bug opened > CSCts96902    N5548 L3 support for "ip forward-protocol udp"    which is a dup of  CSCtj78445    NX-OS ER: allow any udp broadcast with ip helper-address just like IOS

  • ip directed-broadcast

Feature already supported on N5k with L3. What is missing is the possibility to add an ACL. Also for this an enhancement bug has been opened > CSCts96910    N5548 L3 support for ACL in "ip directed-broadcast" command

regards,

Riccardo
