Hi
Purchased a new Catalyst 9606 Series 6 Slot Chasis with C9600-SUP-2 Card running Cisco IOS Software [Cupertino], Catalyst L3 Switch Software (CAT9K_IOSXE), Version 17.7.1, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc5) .
I am not sure what I am doing wrong - but the command "ip policy route-map" command to get the PBR up and running is not there under the L3 interface.
Can anybody help on this ?
Here is my configuration -
!
interface FiftyGigE2/0/23
no switchport
ip address 192.168.0.1 255.255.255.252
!
ip access-list extended 125
10 permit ip any any
!
route-map TEST permit 10
match ip address 125
set ip next-hop 192.168.2.1
Thanks in advance.

Hello,
--> set ip next-hop 192.168.2.1
Is the next hop directly connected and reachable ?

Hi
Yes , it was not previously up- but I have connected the ports ( 2 ports in consideration - input & output) and assigned IP address to the oppsite end port- they started pinging. But no luck with the "ip policy route-map next-hop " command.

Hi All
Please refer to a screenshot of Cisco Document , which I fished out from Internet.
Can anybody answer - what is this ? Why it is applicable for a L3 Switch ?

show module and see if you running sup-2, then that will not work for you.

Hi
Yes, that is not available. Cisco TAC confirmed that will be added after 31st March,2023 in a new software release.
