Hi,

could anyone explain me what the "no ip gratuitous-arps" command does?

the scenario is two 3750 running HSRP.

no ip gratuitous-arps diables the transmission of gratuitous Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) messages for an address in a local pool if the transmission has been disabled.Refer URL
