Rapid PVST to MST on Nexus with VPC

Hello,

Almost hitting the hard limit of 507 stp instances on a pair of N9K running in NX-OS mode, I was looking for solutions, one of them being the migration to MST.

Already done it in the past with standard Catalyst switches, but here we have VPC.

I know there will be traffic disruption, but I don't want one secondary switch to go crazy when changing stp mode on the primary. Any ideas?

Lang,

Your understanding is right this needs to be done in maintainence window because of VOC... Type one inconsistency would be seen when you try to change the STP mode art one side.
