rate limiting and qos not working on me 3750 switch

Hi, we have 3750 switch and we want to rate limit the traffic on the switch port which is an l3 port .We have done the exact configuration but it's not working.Please help us to short out this issue.We are using 12.2(25)SEg1 ios image.Sh tech is attached for refrence.

Egress policing / Rate limiting isn't supported on the standard ports.

You can use egress shaping with SRR bandwidth limit command.

I recommend using the ES ports along with a MQC, not rate-limit.

You can policy inbound on the standard ports by using MQC. Rate-limit in/out isn't supported on 3750.

Thanks for the reply.Can you please share the document stating it and also please share me the configuration for limiting the in/out traffic to 512 kb.
