Issue migrating from isr 4221 Everest 16.5.01b to 16.6.01

System Bootstrap, Version 16.4(3r), RELEASE SOFTWARE

First, the current appliance is running bootstrap version 16.4(3r).  According to the Release Notes (HERE) the bootstrap should be running, at least, 16.4(3r)S5.  So upgrade the appliance to the latest bootstrap version. 

Next, is there are reason why the appliance is made to run the extremely buggy 16.6.1?  Most of the bugs for 16.6.1 are not listed in the Release Notes.  They can be found in the Bug Toolkit.

Unless there is an urgent operational requirement, I'd recommend stay away from 16.X.X until this line is stable.

Thanks for your suggestion.Actually 16.6.01 is our client requirement and hence suggested to upgrade to stable version IOS. Also, the bootstrap version you are mentioning, 16.4(3r)S5 is not listed on cisco software download. Kindly help me on this.
