Hi Prashant,
Try the below command.
archive download-sw tftp://x.x.x.x/c1200-k9w7-tar.123-8.JEA3.tar
where x.x.x.x is the TFTP ip address.
Ensure the PC which runs the TFTP is able to ping your switch.

Hi Najaf. Yesterday I tried to use that same command on a 2960 48TT-L switch which was running IOS 12.2.55-SE4 (lanbase); however, when I typed in that command the switched showed me an error. What I did was to copy the .bin file to the flash and the switch works fine with the newest version (15.0.2-SE5) but I wasn't able to copy the html folder. How can now transfer that folder to the flash? Thank you.

What was the error you got when trying the .tar file on the 2960?
Also, I've read throughout these forums that 15.0.2-SE5 has some issues (with DHCP snooping, for example), 15.0.2-SE4 being the recommended release (or 12.2.55-SE8, if you don't need the extra features)...

I agree that it would help if we knew what error had happened in the attempt to load the tar file.
The current question is how transfer the html folder to flash. As far as I know the only way to transfer the html folder is to successfully upgrade using the tar file.

Hi,
Why don't you try the following:
#copy tftp: flash:ios.tar
Then
#archive tar /xtract ios.tar flash:
Set the boot path
(config)#boot system flash:/ios/ios.bin
#wr
#reload
Thanks
