Receive Errors

Hi,

I have a Cisco 2620 XM router, The Fast interface receive errors seem high right now about 3,000+, There are currently no transmit errors. Should I be concerned with this? Thanks in advanced for your help.

Hi,

I would check the cabling and port settings e.g. duplex and speed on both ends. If that is no issue, try to sniffer the traffic to see what might be wrong.

Thanks, my first thought was cable. I check the configuration on the router speed 100 and duplex is full not auto. My switchport is set to auto, I changed the port to 100 full, hopefully that will clear up the errors.
