Hi All,

I am getting this below error in 6500 switch.

Source: TenGigabitEthernet10/3 Receive Power Sensor

Path: x.x.x.x;Chassis: test.com Last modified by: System Last modified time: 2/25/2010 6:34:26 AM Alert description: The Cisco sensor object: TenGigabitEthernet10/3 Receive Power Sensor for the device: test.com is in a major or critical error state.

I check that Interface status is down status.

Whats the other end device port status / device model connecting to this port?

Have you checked the physical fiber? what kinda link connectivity (L2 or L3) getting connected onto this port?
