Reduce time of copy startup running

Hi all experts.

When i issue "wr" or "copy running startup" it shows "Building configuration" and then waits for like few seconds, before returning me the prompt. Is there anyway to speed up this process ? i dont like to wait for "wr" to make me wait. Is it possible to speed up the command or run it in background while getting the prompt back ? ?

Hi,

The time needed depends on each router and unfortunately cannot be speeded up. It cannot run in the background either, I'm afraid.
