SPAN and exceeded sessions number

Hi,

If I SPAN (port mirroring) on a large  number of source ports or if I exceed the number of sessions, which  may be the  consequences for our equipments ?

Typically,  can the switch "crash" ?  if so, what limits should  I meet ?

Hi,

Here is an example of the span limitations for the 3750. You can only span two source ports and 64 destination ports:

The IOS won't let you confogure any more than that.
