hello

i have a question about creating backup route to the internet as it show below

the company i work for have 2 locations in 2 buildings

building 1 ( right side of the picture) has the core switch + gateway ( router and ASA)

switch 0 in building 2 connected to building 1 + another ASA and router to different ISP as a backup

in case of link failure between building 1 and 2 i want the connection to route to 2nd ISP

i am still beginner so what can be done here ?

the gateway in switch 0 is pointed to the core switch in building 1

the back up ASA in building 2 is in different network ( vlan 15)

Hi

there are a few options

1 ip sla and hsrp , good example in the link below , you could use PBR with it too if required , track the far end of the circuit links

2 if you are using BGP
