Hi

Is there any way to upload and download or transfer a file from server to client and vice versa without FTP and SFTP or copying directly in a folder.

To use ftp we need to open the ftp ports so without that is it possible to tansfer.

Do we able to open and block a ports in server windows/linux.

Please clarify

thanks

Naveen

Naveen,

FTP/SFTP is the best mechanism to be used to transfer the file from server to client.

2- I have also see other way of doing that using third party tools/external software but not sure if you can use that in your network.

3- Yes you can open the prt on windows:-
