I want to replace the device from MS120 to MS130.
I've checked a few methods.
1. Switch clone
2. “Replace” from inventory
I'm not entirely sure, but it seems like the above two methods only work between identical devices.
I want to keep all settings exactly as they are IP, hostname, location, etc.
Any good ideas??

You are correct.

To be honest, I find replacing a device on the Meraki so simple.
You can simply replicate the configurations to the new switch, test them in parallel, and then plan the replacement.

This is not the same device.
Can I clone the settings from MS120 to MS130?
I don't think it's possible.

When I say replicate, I really mean manually configuring it. Meraki isn't that complicated and doesn't have many settings.

If you have to do this often, you could look into using the api
https://developer.cisco.com/meraki/api-v1/get-device-switch-ports/
For example

Is the only way to reconfigure all the settings from the old switch on the new one?
Is there no better solution?
