Morning all,
I would appreciate some opinion and or guidance on this. I was working on a QoS solution based on classes and DSCP markings for a WAN interface. The decision was then made to change that plan and do the QoS on the LAN side as opposed to the WAN link. I have a 4507 with SVI's which addresses routing between the VLANs. !
Now my question is how do I make this work on the LAN via the 4507. Do I do VLAN based QoS or do I do it port based. In addition, how will the markings be trusted by the other devices (switches, routers) in the path?
Please feel free to offer any comments, suggestions, tips, criticism, etc
Thanks
