reset to default settings (catalyst 2690-X Series)

Hello

I’ve loaded a configuration to the switch, which isn’t working. Now I can’t connect to the switch anymore and tried to reset the switch to the default settings, like it’s explained in your manual. But the LED doesn’t stop flashing by pushing the “Mode”- Button.

Is there another possibility to reset the switch?

 - Attach a console setup to , via the serial standard console (blue cable) and followup on output on the console when the reset is tried (press the mode button long enough).

if that doesn't work post the output of the cli from the console so we can see whats happening as its trying to reset
