Cisco's Transceiver Module Group (TMG) Compatibility Matrix doesn't help. I am looking for some suggestions on how to determine Cicso part numbers for 10 GB uplink transceiver and a 1 GB uplink transceiver. 

Or, you could just provide me with the recommendations: What 10 GB uplink transceiver is best. I don't understand Cicso's part nomenclature.

It depends on the fiber type. Do you have multimode fiber or single-mode fiber in place?
