Am i right when Cisco port accept BPDU port goes to err-disable ?

Hello @Mlex1,

BPDU Guard is designed to protect the network from Layer 2 loops. If a switch port in a non-trunking mode (access mode) receives a BPDU, it is likely that a loop is being introduced into the network, and the port is shut down (err-disabled) to prevent the loop.

You can configure BPDU Guard on a per-port basis or globally for a group of ports, depending on your network requirements.

spanning-tree bpduguard enable

This command enables BPDU Guard on the specified interface. If a BPDU is received on this port, it will err-disable the port.

BPDU Guard and Port Fast commands /port settings go together;  Here is attach short summary from CLN; there were great posts regarding BPDU Guard and other switching enhancements few years back; not sure if we can find them (before major site conversion to mobile-friendly version)
