Router 1941/15.1.4/SYS-2-MALLOCFAIL: Memory allocation

Hi, everyone who can help me, this log is presented to us and the router restarted. Does anyone know what it can be?

 - Start checking current software release on the router (installed). If it's old consider upgrading to a gold-starred release. Check wether the problems persist afterwards.

Good day,

The issue seems to be a router crash due to a memory allocation failure. 

 

This could be related to a software bug, so one of the things I would suggest is upgrade the router to the latest IOS available.

Did the router generate a crash file? Can you share the output of "dir all", please?

Traceback always means it's a software bug.  

Judging from the error message, it's a memory leak.  Will get worst in the long run and if this is not corrected, the router just might crash because it ran out of available memory.
