I have a router 1941 that out of a sudden, has in it's own ARP cache another machine's IP with it's own mac address.
This is causing random loss of connectivity with that machine and obviously log entries with IP DUPADDR.
Clear ARP cache of the IP in question didn't work.
Has any one got further suggestions?

May be another machine also have same IP address, whcih you have on your router on any interface.
Can you show the config and the sh logg from your router.

Thanks, but the problem is that the router doesn't have this IP configured anywhere. Also, in the ARP cache entry, it's his mac address which is listed, however he reports DUPADDR from the correct machine as it tries to resolve ARP.
