I have CISCO 2811 router. I am trying to put password on its interface(LAN and WAN). Is it possible to do so ?
If yes, how it is done?
I have tried to put a password but failed.

Hi Rahul
You can have passwords on your WAN interface with PPP encapsulation.
And also if you are running any routing protocols and if you want to have authentication to be there in place before it establishes neighborship then you can have passwords on the interface configured.
