Hi
As suggested by Satish you should run an extended ping with the source IP address being the interface of the router that connects to your LAN. The problem may well be that when you ping from the router it is using a different interface as the source IP address and the remote site does not know how to route back.

Hi ,
check whether the routes are given on remote site router to u r local router network.
Try to do extended trace from your router and paste it in forum.
It is better check the routes configured on both the routers once if you are not using any routing protocal.
If possible paste config of both the routers.
Thanks,
satish
