Routing issue

Hi,

I would really appreciate some help with an issue I have.

I have a Cisco SG3000-10 in Layer 3 mode

An Asus wireless access point

A Dell switch

The AP and the dell switch are both plugged into the Cisco router. I am trying to get traffic to route from the wireless network to the Dell switch.

The Wireless AP is plugged into Port 1 and the Dell switch into Port 4.

I have attached pictures of my config.

At the moment I can only ping 192.168.11.1 from a device connect to wireless AP and I have no idea why I cannot ping 192.168.2.1.

If I can at least get to the point of being able to just ping the 192.168.2.1 address I might be able to sort the other routing out.

I am not really sure if the ports are configured correctly.

Hi,

Could do with some more information please do you have a network diagram of your setup, also what is your switch config ?

Have you tried connecting the AP to the switch as a setup.

What is the default gateway configured for the wireless clients?

It sounds like you don't have the correct default gateway for the devices.  You need to set the default gateway for clients to the IP address of the VLAN interface.

It was indeed the fact that the wireless router was not giving out the correct default gateway.
