RS-FEC on C9500 HA SVL

Hi 

I have a pair of  C9500-48Y4C  in stackwyse virtual mode.

I need to use SFP-10/25G-CSR-S  as sfp for the 2 SVL. The links don't goes UP as it seem i need to enable RS-FEC.

(With 10G-SR it's ok )

My problem is that i don't have the command on SVL ports (Eg twentyFiveGigE 1/0/47)

The version is:

Cisco IOS XE Software, Version 17.12.04

I dont think it issue of FEC other than it issue of SVL restrictions in platform.

Not all port accpet to be use for SVL.

So check stackwise virtual for your SW platform and check port restrictions

The ports used for SVL are ok for SVL. When i use 10G-SR sfp on same ports,all is OK, (SVL UP, redundancy fully functionnal, ports channels to access switchs UP, etc...).

The RS-FEC is noticed in 25G datasheet. On non svl links i have the commands, but not on SVL interfaces.

it not sense cisco use 25G for SVL and to make it UP you need command not available under SVL
