Hi,
I am running rstp in all switches and now one switch does support only pvst .
any pros and cons in putting in distribution layer

Hello @kp-tkr2014 ,
if you are running Rapid PVST you can keep it at the distribution layer because it is able to be backward compatible at port level.
Of course having one switch running PVST will influence the convergence time of the network but it is supported.

Hi,
I believe the only item you put on distribution block, is on the VLAN's that your distributing on to the access layer.
So
Interface "switchport trunk allowed vlan 1,2,3,4..." & then spanning-tree vlan 1,2,3,4.." don't forget the "priority 8192".
