Hello @kp-tkr2014 ,

if you are running Rapid PVST you can keep it at the distribution layer because it is able to be backward compatible at port level.

Of course having one switch running PVST will influence the convergence time of the network but it is supported.

Hope to help

Giuseppe

Hi,

I believe the only item you put on distribution block, is on the VLAN's that your distributing on to the access layer.

So

Interface "switchport trunk allowed vlan 1,2,3,4..." & then spanning-tree vlan 1,2,3,4.." don't forget the "priority 8192".

Hope this helps.
