RSTP/MSTP protocols with HSR on the same IE3400 switch

Hello every one,

can you please help me with below:

I'm trying to implement the attached setup where I'm planning to use IE3400 as an HSR redbox and be part of RSTP ring at the same time.

is this something achievable? can I configure RSTP and HSR protocols on the same switch (IE3400)?

Hi,

   Never had the chance to test it out, however it should work if I understood your diagram correctly; the only limitation which makes sense pr HSR functionality, is that STP and HSR are not supported on same ring, it's one or the other.
