Good afternoon, I am having a problem in a network. It is a ring topology and rstp is enable, but I had a broken link and rstp didnt't work well, I am losing connection to some devices because rstp is blocking the port, i am not sure what is the cause, fiber links are good, layer 1 is good. Port G1/1 is on Dispute and got block.
Interface Role Sts Cost Prio.Nbr Type
------------------- ---- --- --------- -------- --------------------------------
Gi1/1 Desg BLK 4 128.1 P2p Dispute
Gi1/2 Root FWD 4 128.2 P2p
This is the port configuration
interface GigabitEthernet1/1
description xxxxxx
switchport mode access
!
interface GigabitEthernet1/2
description xxxxxx
switchport mode access
!
there are like 5 switches that one Gig interface is lock, but the redundancy is not present, thanks for your help.
