SAN License for Nexus 5548

Hello

I need a help regarding the next issue:

I have a pair nexus 5548 licensed for SAN, besides of having installed the module 8p 10GE Eth/FCoE + 8p 8/4/2/1G FC each switch, so, both switches are in operation, and i need to move the license and also the FC modules to another pair of switches nexus 5548. What should be the procedure to move the license and the modules to the another pair of switches nexus 5548???

I would appreciate the help with any recommendation and best practice for doing it.

Send an email to licensing@cisco.com with the serial numbers of both Nexus 5K and tell them you want to "port" the license to the second chassis.

Hello Alexs

One additional way to rehost your licenses is to go to http://cisco.com/go/licensing and from the top menu select the "Transfer" option.

There you will find either transfer for RMA or rehost options.
