SDM problem

I'm having problems openig the tab <additional tasks> in configuration management.  All other tabs will open without problems, but when <additional tasks> is selectd, nothing hapens.  This is on an 1811W with SDM 2.5  Any ideas?  thanks

Hi roger,

This is a know problem due to the JRE version you are running try to downgrade to 1.6.0.3 and everything should be ok.

By the way SDM is being replaced by CCP so maybe you could give it a try.

Thanks for the answer...I was pulling out my hair on this.  And thanks for the info on CCP, I'm going to give it a shot.

It looks like I will need to update IOS to use CCP.  My router currently has 12.3(8)YI1.   I have never upgraded the IOS, and used software advisor to find the latest available version, which the advisor says is 12.4, but in the download section there is reference to 15.1.  There are also two images for download an enterprise and IP version.  What's the difference?  FWIW, the IP version is on the router at present time

One more question, will the router have to be reconfigured if CCP is loaded on the router?
