SDM template Question

Hi all,

for unicast routes in the table, for example 8k that is divided into 6k and 2k for both directly connected hosts and indirect routes, is the 8k shared value or is it restriced for each of the resources, for example if the indirect routes exeeds 2k will it use any of the other 6k resources ?

Sahir,

There is no borrowing of resources.

Ensure you selct the best SDM template for your situation.

If you need to use your box as main/core router select the routing SDM

or you may run in to high CPU issues.

Hi,

I would agreed the Alex's comment, you may have high cpu issue as well as TCAM error messages on the logs, since the switch will not take any resources from other TCAM groups.
